Parent Visit and Getty Museum
Marianne's mother Kathryn could always interest Hunter into playing with bubbles. We went together to the Getty museum and saw beautiful paintings (including Rembrandt) and a view of Los Angeles. Marianne's father Ken drove down from Laketown to pick up Kathryn for the drive home. Hunter held Gwendolyn for the first time today.

Christmas Vacation 2009
We had a nice Christmas vacation visiting Marianne's family and friends. We spent a week including Christmas in Laketown. Before Christmas, Marianne's family enjoyed Sunday together singing carols and playing chimes (see video below). We went to the yearly Laketown Ward Christmas Eve Party where Santa Claus comes and gives each child a gift. We then visited friends in the Denver area and Hunter got his second sled ride. We then headed for Becky's and along the way we did some sighteseeing in Santa Fe and Albuquerque New Mexico. We enjoyed good roads all along the way. I included a couple pictures looking down at Bear Lake and Laketown from the Sweetwater development.

Update
During the late summer we had visits from Becky’s family, Phyllis, Joan, and Steve’s parents. Becky gave Marianne vinyl lettering for her laundry room as a birthday gift and we had our first pool party. Thanks Becky.
In October we attended missionary reunions and visited Marianne’s family. On the way home we toured a bronze foundry in Alpine Utah owned by a friend. A lot of work and skill goes into each statue.
Marianne’s parents came to visit Kathy and Roy’s family for Lincoln’s baptism. It was also Halloween so we had a lot of fun. Kathryn and Ken followed us to southern California and stayed a couple of days.
Hunter is 17 months now and about ready to begin walking. Last Sunday I was released from my ward clerk job and now Marianne and I are nursery leaders. We are now looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
