Sqweaky Shoes

Frank and Amy visited us and for fun we walked around Downtown Disney. We visited Steven's parents for Father's Day. Hunter is getting some weekly speech and swimming lessons. Marianne wanted Gwendolyn to have some squeaky shoes so that she would not get under foot in the kitchen. The video below shows Gwendolyn's first happy steps in the shoes.

Making new friends

These are some of the activities that Hunter participated in at a center for early childhood development. Hunter was able to go there for a couple of months, to help increase his speech skills.

He's three!

Hunter had his 3rd Birthday on June 8th. We went to Chucke Cheese and on the weekend had a pool party with his cousins Nicole's and Jennifer's families. Marianne made an owl cake from cupcakes. My brother Charles' family and sister Joan also visited from Cedar City, earlier in the month.

National Train Day and Fathers&Sons

Hunter loves trains and Marianne learned about National Train Day on the radio being celebrated at the Los Angeles Union Station. We rode the Amtrak train from Santa Ana to Union Station, 50 minutes each way. That was probably the best part of the day. Also, Hunter and Steven got to go to Fathers & Sons for the first time together. Hunter is looking older and taller.

April and Easter Weekend

Marianne found the children in some interesting situations, like eating cherry pie between meals. On Easter Friday we went to Knott's Berry Farm with Becky and Jim's family. On Saturday we had a barbeque, pool party and Easter egg hunt. Gwendolyn got a new swim suit and the front room was packed with children while Roy and Jim hid the eggs.

Trains and Knotts Berry Farm

Marianne took a couple cute poses in February. Hunter has been very interested in trains the last couple of months and he got to ride in his first train yesterday at Knotts Berry Farm. He is saying 'train' as he rests his head on Gwendolyn. Knotts Berry Farm has a Snoopy Camp area where there are rides for small children.

Gwen's 1st Birthday

We got to celebrate Gwen's 1st birthday in Visalia with Kathy and Roy and in Orange with Steven's family. Steven's mother is slowly getting stronger after her fall last month.
