Patience's first three weeks

Here are some more pictures of Patience, beginning with a hospital picture, to today. Marianne's and Steven's mothers are shown. Today Frank and Amy visited and Eva got to hold Patience also. Also, while Kathryn was here we visited a local Discovery Science Center. There were a lot of different displays like the ones shown: rocket engine, simple airplane cockpit, smoke ring maker and cyclone maker.

Patience Marie arrived this morning

Marianne and our baby girl are doing well. Patience Marie was 7 lb 8 oz. and will probably also have red hair. Patience, Hunter and Gwendolyn exchanged gifts and
Hunter and Gwendolyn really like working on puzzles. Marianne's parents are visiting to help out.

Easter 2012

We are looking forward to the arrival of our third child tomorrow morning. These are pictures in the month leading up to now. Marianne tweeked her back in March, and we got immediate help from our niece Jennifer. Then we got help this last month from a Nanny named Jessica. We found her on a nanny website, and we were pleasantly surprised that she is LDS.

We had an Easter visit from Kathy, Lincoln and Noah. We had a nice Sunday dinner and easter egg hunt at Steven's sister Diane's house. The Relief Society had a freezer party where friends from the ward brought dinners which could be saved in the freezer. Hunter likes going to pre-school and will start taking the bus this week. We are thankful that this option is available, because it would be more difficult for Marianne to take Hunter with three children.

Gwen's birthday and Julie's wedding

Gwen had her 2nd birthday on February 8th. We then traveled to St. George for Julie's wedding. Marianne's cousin watched our children during the wedding and we hope to see them again in the future.

Birthday and Shower

Steven's mother had her 89th birthday in January and Gwendolyn is shown playing with another girl in the ward. Marianne helped organize a shower for a mother in our ward and got a lot of help from other women to make it a very colorful evening. The theme was Dr. Suess.
