Lillywhite Reunion and Baby blessing

In late July we went to Marianne's family reunion in Laketown Utah for the Pioneer July 24th Celebration. On Saturday we went to the ward's morning breakfast, watched the town's parade from Marianne's parents' front lawn and had a fun game of volleyball in the backyard. Grandpa Lillywhite gave his grandchildren rides in his golf cart all week long.  We blessed Patience Sunday morning in Sacrament meeting and were surprised to see Elder Quentin L. Cook visiting the ward.

When you look at Bear Lake facing north it has a very pretty turquoise color.  We enjoyed going to the lake.  We checked on our trees and they are looking good with Marianne's father watering them.  We can see Marianne's parents' home from our lot and it is centered in the picture.  The green farmland is very beautiful for us living in the city.  We visited Marianne's Uncle Bob's cabin overlooking the north end of the lake and almost did not get up the hill with our front wheel drive SUV.

At the end of the week we drove to Sacramento and visited the State's train museum.  Hunter and Gwen enjoyed running around and we included a picture of a dining car kitchen and table setting from the old days.  Gwen got to cool her feet in an old town fountain.

At home we went to Chick-fil-a on their appreciation day when there were car lined down the street.  Marianne had gone there before our trip where Batman was bringing the food to the tables.
